I think thanedatassassinkrios was the one who presented the challenge of depicting your Shepard from each game. So voila! Elle s’appelle Thallia Shepard, paragon, colonist, sole survivor! The third one broke my heart. Because this is Shepard after having lost Thane and Mordin, and pushed to her physical and emotional breaking point, struggling to cope with the losses she’s suffered in her life and the immense losses to come. Just that…haunted look in her eyes that she can’t even hope to hide…kills me. (high res it! because the thumbnail sucks)

I’ve been meaning to fanart princesscheesecake/owlcheesecake’s Amelise Shepard forever, because she’s one of my favourites. She makes me want to huggle her and cower in fear at the same time. Totally adorbz but totally terrifying. Also wanted to pay tribute to one of my favourite artists on Tumblr. <3

Sooo, remember when I said I would make the real version of the leather N7 jacket? Well here. It&#8217;s done. I took a normal jacket and painted on the red - leather absorbs acrylic paint incredibly well. I taped the CE patch on for reference because it came without the other side of the velcro. :S When I get around to it, I&#8217;ll peel off the velcro and glue the patch on. My femshep would have rocked this so hard, it makes me sad.

Yuka&#8217;s Silly Headcanon time: Occasionally, my Shepard lets her hair down and meanders around the Normandy with Joker, playing the ukelele, and taking song requests. And gets EDI to broadcast their little jam sessions throughout the ship. It boosts crew morale. As I was drawing this, I realized that this is probably the last piece of fanart before I play ME3, after which everything I write and draw in relation to Mass Effect will be tainted by whatever happens in the last game. I don&#8217;t want it to end because I&#8217;m afraid there will be no going back to the cozy, oblivious confines of my own silly headcanon&#8230;

And then there’s my pure renegade Shep, Isaki. This photo is literally the only thing that exists of her now. I started colouring her, got fed up with it, and threw it out. So, back to the drawing board.

On another note, I created her with the intention of romancing her with Vega (got through ME/ME2 without so much as a flirtation), but… now I’m more than a little bit concerned that that won’t be possible, what with all the murky hubbub over at the BSN… SUPERSADFACE BUT WITH FINGERS CROSSED.

Back from playing the demo through twice, as infiltrator and vanguard. Totally awesome. I haven&#8217;t decided whether the omniblade or the biotic punch is my favourite. But I do know that that Krogan female is my new Queen of BAMFs. And the music, man. THE MUSIC had me in tears. Above is a shot of my attempted recreation of my mainshep, Thallia. Finally, a hairstyle that&#8217;s a little closer to what I want for her. For reference, my gamertag is Yukaryote, so we can fuck shit up in multiplayer next week.

A collection of incoherent thoughts about the femshep trailer:

I feel like I shouldn’t be, but I am little underwhelmed. Maybe I expected too much. BUT regardless, still super exciting to see femshep in all her badassery, AND hear Jennifer Hale’s sexy voice, especially at the end with the operatic score - chills, anyone?

Also, our first glimpse of Jacob “the Priiize” Taylor, Miri, Legion, and Samara…so..much..UNF. And Joker’s little hat nod? I melted.

Really optimistic about the scope and guns-ablazin’ action of the game, but at the same time I hope they won’t skimp out on the “down-time” scenes with all the characters.

Here’s where I nit-pick: femshep looks really..cartoony. almost like Lara Croft cartoony with the huge eyes and the heavy makeup. I think I would have preferred them to be more consistent with the default femshep face from the previous games. But I guess we can’t have everything.

Still, ASLKALSKDJLSKAJDkKJ I AM EXCITE.
